Drew Hughes is a fine art wildlife photographer from Miami currently living in Asheville. His love for animals comes from his mother, a veterinary ophthalmologist, who would often take him with her to work at Zoo Miami and local science centers as a young boy. His love of photography started in the darkroom with his father and has been and underlying aspect of his creative career ever since. Drew has been actively photographing animals since 2011 with a focus on capturing fleeting moments of anthropomorphized emotion.
